DIOS: Exploration Update On Hotish Property, Northern Quebec

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 15, 2005) - A field campaign is currently underway to collect approximately 300 tons of kimberlite material from the HOTISH-1 kimberlite dyke. The HOTISH-1 dyke discovered by DIOS EXPLORATION is being excavated for larger samples in order to evaluate a sufficient amount of kimberlite material for diamond content. Trenching and digging is also planned to test a new possible significant kimberlite.

During the summer and fall of 2005, DIOS's joint venture partner, Vaaldiam Resources Ltd., completed a sampling program on DIOS's Hotish Property situated in the Otish Mountain diamond district of northern Quebec. This sampling program focused on an area where kimberlite dykes and boulders, along with several high interest indicator mineral anomalies, were discovered by DIOS during an exploration program in 2004. Vaaldiam's exploration program involved the systematic collection of 150 glacial till samples to try to define the source of the indicator mineral anomalies.

Glacial sediment test surveys were also conducted for appraisal of this method over known kimberlite intrusive areas and elsewhere. Results from this survey indicate a significant anomaly suggesting a major KIMBERLITE intrusive associated with the HOTISH-1 kimberlite dyke. Trenching and digging is also planned to test this new possible kimberlite. Work on the Hotish Property is wholly-funded by Vaaldiam Resources Ltd.
