Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg Band Council to hold Press Conference For Two (2) Missing First Nation Female Youth

Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation, Quebec (September 18, Z008). Another two (2) young First Nation women have disappeared. Maisy Odjick, 16 years of age and Shannon Alexander, 17 years of age, have been missing since September 18, 2008. The Kitigan libi Anishinabeg Band Council in cooperation with the Kitigan libi Police Department and the families ofthe two (2) missing youth will be holding a press conference tomorrow to provide details on this case, to raise awareness and to get the public involved in finding them and bringing them back home safely.

My name is Laurie Odjick and I am from Kitigan Zibi Anishnabeg in Maniwaki, Quebec. My Daughter Maisy has been missing for 5 days now.

Maisy is 16 years old and has brown eyes and short brown hair. She also has 2 piercings on her bottom lip and one on her left nostril.

She has been missing since Saturday, September 5th, 2008.

Shannon Alexander and her friend Maisy Jacko were last seen September 6, 2008. The girls are believed to be together.
