New Cree Human Resources Development Office in Chisasibi

The official opening of the new Cree Human Resources Department of the CRA office in Chisasibi.

The Cree Human Resources Development Department (CHRD) was born in 1996 and was able to grow thanks to the efforts of our leaders who have successfully negotiated number of agreements with the governments to transfer the administration of training and employment programs to our Territory; The Grand Council of the Crees (Eeyou Istchee) and Cree Regional Authority in making this project a reality and in making CHRD an important partner in the development of the Cree communities in Eeyou Istchee, both at the economic and social level. CHRD was also able to grow thanks to the sustained efforts of its entire team, which is now composed of 31 employees and who are so committed to making a difference.
